Seedling, a New Zealand company want to give the children the oportunity to discover their own world and themselves. There is a natural instinct in every child to engage, try out, be inventive and to ask questions. The Seedling products treasure this spirit and plant the seeds for growing ideas and the passion for creativity. You won’t find the typical workshops like, drawing by numbers but this company rather provides the tools and templates in order to give children the chance to use their own imagination and realise their own ideas. What are you waiting for? Try it and never forget: It is not the result that matters but the experience to get there, that is the most precious gift for your young ones.

The Seedling products are invented designed and made in New Zealand and combine a great variety of skills like drawing, gardening, craftmanship, science, painting, building and so much more. Allways with this nice touch of the good old days where kids were allowed to work with real tools and materials that give them the sense of mastery and achievement whilst digging their teeth into and having fun engaging with adults.

All kits are handmade with care and composed by the Seedling team with an extra attention for each detail. The part of the kits are collected from all over the world, with a strong eye on recycled or sustainable materials for the contents and the packaging.

Inspired by the schooldays from the Fifties to the Seventies Céline Basset-Biagi rediscovered one specific childhood memory: the oldfashioned schoolbag with its metal buckles. And so she started the brand Miniséri. Miniséri is the first brand to turn a reissue of a schoolbag into a timeless accessory.

The Miniséri satchel is available in various sizes and original versions reffering to the trends of the moment, sometimes daring in its choice of materials and special colours. Each item is made with care and in limited edition, branded by the Miniséri logo on the metal buckles.
The satchels can be worn as a shoulderbag and a backbag alike due to their unique ‘ strap & go ‘ system, invented by Minisérie itself.

Initially intended for children the bags turned in their homeland France quickly into a fashion accessory for grown-ups.
Meanwhile Miniséri is constantly expanding the collection inspired by vintage and timeless styles: satchels, suitcases, handbags, purses and small leather items….all in luxurious and stylish designs.

This summer the Belgian brand mundo melocotón shows a range of baby’s and kid’s clothes with new stripes and prints. In combination with the evergreens – velvet basics – the collection carries us to the sunny beaches of the French coast. Little girls in bloomers and matching dresses are the perfect nostalgic example. Long sleeve t-shirts and hoodies are also essential for Belgian summer days to face the fresh wind from the shore.

Dauwke from mundo melocotón explains: ” With these clothes I wanted to recall the lightness of a carefree childhood from the Seventies and Eighties.
Four of the six colours used in the collection – green, red, aqua, rasberry are one the base of the new line of t-shirts. All the new looks can be perfectly well combined with the items from the permanent collection.

Soft materials
mundo melocotón chose soft jersey for the t-shirts, dresses and bloomers. Nevertheless a collection without the fixed values of velvet pants, shorts and hoodies is unthinkable.

Roz Streeten and Steve Kamlish invented a fantastic serie of colouring books for creative children aged 4 to 12 and beyond. The Rosie Flo colouring books evolved through hours of sitting and drawing with their daughters when they were small. They gave instructions as to what must have been drawn and each time Roz promptly obeyed. Dresses were the most popular items demanded, the girls would then do the faces, arms and legs.

If so the Rosie Flo’s and the Johhny Joe’s colouring books ( for boys ) are an absolute must have. The paper quality is thick enough to avoid showing through or damaging the picture on the next page. It is sturdy enough to withstand a few journeys without falling apart and small enough to fit in a child’s hand luggage. The lines are intentionally not too thick, as this makes it look like it is only for preschool children.
